We got a nice lil grant from ITI/NWT Arts to make a mini doc about what we do! The vid, by the amazing Sadetło Scott, is on our home page. SO thrilled that Crook the Kid let us use his song 'summer days,' too.

May 2020:
With Pandemic restrictions, the art gallery of the NWT found a way to continue exhibitions: the gallery house-call. Operating with the permission of NWT public health, the public was invited to make appointments with the gallery for personal, household visits. In many cases, individuals invited neighbours to visit the gallery as well. Please see our exhibitions page for pics of the touring show Conversations with Clouds, and read local news coverage here:

March 2020:
On a cold (-29 C) dark morning CBC radio host Loren McGinnis woke up extra early and wrestled with frozen electrical cords in order to do a remote live broadcast from the gallery (Loren won). As the gallery was parked by the Snow Castle on the Yellowknife Bay, he talked about the NWT creative scene with gallery director Sarah Swan and artist Jonah Cutler, and then with Castle crew member and musician Ryan McCord. The propane in the heater was sluggish, but the coffee was warm and the music was hot. Only in Yellowknife, right?
CBC's Avery Zingel came along on our trip to Behchoko, NT - a Tlicho community about an hour and a half down the road from Yellowknife. Read about it here!
